One look at my gallery will show you that I’m at my happiest when I get to the end of your ceremony and know that there will never be another one like it! I absolutely LOVE traditional weddings at beautiful, purpose-built venues. But I also love weddings-

In the woods, on the beach, in the middle (literally) of a stream, at the top of a mountain, in the local park, at a city-centre bookshop, picnic-style beside the river, in your back garden (or even your kitchen), at your favourite AirBnB, or your favourite team’s home ground…

With prayers and blessings, with stone cairns, handfasting and rituals, with ceremonial toasts and wise words, with hugs and applause, with twilight and fairy lights… or with none of that stuff!

Stuck for ideas? I’m way ahead of you. And I might be the only person who will love and remember your wedding ceremony just as much as you will!

My authorisation to conduct a legal marriage comes from Auldhouse Community Church and is recognised by the Registrar General. As with all SICA members who are authorised to conduct legal marriages in Scotland this authorisation is separate from my SICA membership.
