    Cate Reid‘s biography

    My name is Cate, and I work with you to craft meaningful, heartfelt ceremonies that celebrate life’s milestones in a way that truly reflects your personal values and beliefs. I offer weddings, civil partnerships, vow renewals, baby namings, and memorial services. Each ceremony is lovingly created with you at the heart, and can be formal, relaxed, spiritual, religious, non-religious, or a mix, whichever suits your needs.


    I am authorised to solemnise legal marriages in Scotland through the Circle of Contemplative Living, recognised by the Registrar General for Scotland. Travel costs, if applicable, are always discussed and agreed with you, so your day feels relaxed and tailored to you. You are also warmly welcome to join our meditation sessions on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday mornings from 8am until 8.30am.
