Helen Parker‘s biography
I have a background working in homelessness and child protection, therefore have considerable experience in working with families during difficult times. I am also President of Renfrewshire Speakers Club, therefore I am a confident public speaker. I love storytelling and decided to train as an Independent Celebrant with Celebrant Training Scotland in June 2022 and since then have delivered ceremonies in crematoria and also parlour/burial ceremonies. I was also honoured to have been invited by the staff at Clyde Coast and Garnock Valley Crematorium to create and lead their Father’ Day Memorial Ceremony for 2 consecutive years.
As a Rites and Rituals Scotland celebrant, I have the authority from the Registrar General of Scotland to conduct legal marriages, and can do so in any venue of your choice. I firmly believe in the art of ceremony and will do my utmost to work with you to create something truly heartfelt, that will resonate with you and your guests.
In terms of funeral ceremonies, I promise I will do everything I can to honour the life of your loved one. I will do this by visiting you at a convenient time and taking time to get to know what mattered to your loved one, and will create a totally bespoke and heartfelt ceremony that truly reflects their character and your wishes.
I am totally inclusive and look forward to meeting you and hearing your story.
