SICA member Jean Thomson
Jean Thomson‘s biography
Ceremonies that I offer include Funerals, Memorials, Scattering of Ashes, Interments, Legal Weddings, Civil Partnerships, vow renewals, Baby Namings/Blessings and all significant Rites of Passage.
It truly is an honour and a privilege to support families to create and conduct bespoke, meaningful, heartfelt ceremonies that reflect the wishes of, and meet the expectations of the family.
I am warm, kind and compassionate, with a good sense of fun.
My style is to walk with you every step of the way guiding and supporting you from our first meeting ’til the end of the ceremony, and beyond.
I am a really good listener and will take the time to get to know you as a couple (or your loved one if a funeral) and weave that into the script to create the perfect ceremony.
Please have a look at my websites www.spiritintheskyceremonies.co.uk (for funerals) and www.makeavow.info (for weddings, civil partnerships, vow renewals and baby naming) or my facebook pages spiritintheskyceremonies and Jean thomson Make a vow. If I am the kind of celebrant you are seeking, please give me a call.
I will look forward to meeting you and hearing your stories of your loved one and working together to give your loved one the send off he/she would have wanted.
If it is a celebrant for a baby naming or wedding ceremony or vow renewal you are considering I look forward to discussing your wishes in more detail in order to craft the perfect ceremony for you.
Under the Auspices of the Open Sanctuary I am authorised by the Registrar General for Scotland to carry out Legal Weddings. If you are looking for a ceremony that is relaxed, respectful, inclusive, heartfelt and tailor made for you, then you are in the right place. My role is to create a ceremony that is authentic and lovingly You. You can include whatever is meaningful to you as a couple. There is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to structure a wedding ceremony but it does have to be right for you. I’m ready and willing to start planning your perfect ceremony incorporating things that are meaningful to you and your significant other.
