No two people are alike, and therefore no two funerals should be the same.  My aim is to offer a bespoke service that is as unique and individual as the person whose life is being remembered.  I work closely with families to ensure the ceremony captures the very essence of their loved one, telling the story of their life in a fitting and memorable tribute.  I go to great lengths to honour their personal choices, creating a service that reflects the special qualities and characteristics of the person who has died

I am entirely guided by my clients and work closely with funeral directors to ensure a professional ceremony that will be remembered and cherished by family and friends.  I believe that the relationship between clients and celebrant is fundamental to creating a meaningful and compassionate service.  Before the funeral, I meet with you to discuss, in detail, your wishes for the ceremony.  I also provide information about myself and the types of services I offer, ensuring families feel supported throughout the process.

In preparation for the ceremony, I create a heartfelt service tailored to your wishes and provide you with a full script for review.  Additional enhancements, such as a photo tribute, a funeral toast, or a candle ceremony, can also be included to create a truly unique tribute.  You are welcome to place personal items on a memory table as part of the service, and as a special touch, I offer a unique memorial plaque after the ceremony as a keepsake

My skills in creating and delivering appropriate and unique ceremonies have been rigorously assessed.  With over 20 years of experience as an Authorised Assistant Registrar, I bring a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to my role.  I have also completed a Funeral Celebrancy course with Celebrant Training Scotland, one of the leading training organisations in the field. As a full member of the Scottish Independent Celebrants Association, I am committed to continuous professional development and regular performance reviews, ensuring the highest standards in every ceremony I deliver.
