So here goes! What started as an idea, and then a conversation at a BBQ, has led to this, From The Heart With Love, my very own business 
And to kick things off, I had the absolute honour and privilege of conducting the Wedding Ceremony of two of my closest friends. It was an amazing day and one I will never forget 
Now I’m established as a celebrant. I mainly conduct funerals but I’m very open to discussing any ceremony or event where you need someone who can deliver your story in a heartfelt way.
I’m also a member of the SICA committee and I take a special interest in self-care for celebrants.
Below you can play a recording of a poem that I have used only a couple of times, but stays with me for some reason. I came across it when I was looking for words for a family that couldn’t think of any poems or words they liked and that would be fitting for their loved one. They were a quiet person that liked to keep their own company and “didn’t like a fuss” (something we hear so often as celebrants). These words seemed to quietly and respectfully honour that.
I mainly work in the Penicuik and Edinburgh areas but I am open to discussing working further afield.
