Lesley Fraser‘s biography

I have a background in bereavement and relationship counselling, broadcasting and public speaking for over 30 years. A trained nurse, I have long held the conviction that helping relatives and friends to say goodbye to their loved ones in a caring and sensitive way helps them to carry on despite their loss. I would have liked to have had this support when my close family members died. have worked as a Chaplin and I am also an Ordained Interfaith Minister able to conduct legal weddings in Scotland. I love to create original, people based ceremonies, tailored to your needs. I have been working as an Independent Celebrant for thirteen years. I was ordained in 2022 as a Minister with the OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation.

I will create a service which reflects the life of the person who has died, in a way that is respectful and supportive to their relatives. A true celebration of their life. There can be as much religious content as required, or none at all. My families can have as much input as they want. As well as funerals, I am happy to create celebrations for Baby Naming, Renewal of Vows and Wedding Celebrations all with the individuality you will need to make it perfect for the occasion.
