Veronica Ferguson‘s biography
I was a professional actor for 10 years, then after getting married and having children I decided to train as a celebrant. I training with Celebrant Training Academy Scotland and Heart Led Ceremonies and have also trained as a OneSpirit Interfaith Minister allowing me to conduct Legal Weddings.
My strength as a funeral celebrant lies in supporting a bereaved family through an emotional time, making the process as stress free and pleasant as possible. I have been told that I am very intuitive, I am un judgemental and patient. It is so rewarding when I know I have held a family through the difficult time of burying a loved one and created the perfect farewell ceremony, which without doubt, helps with the grieving process. I have been asked to officiate numerous suicide funerals. I think this is because I know how to delicately combine absolute honesty with great storytelling to create unforgettable and enjoyable ceremonies. This is what I do well. I have never had a family that were not utterly delighted with the ceremonial process. We meet as strangers we leave as friends.
I love taking weddings, we have fun! How can it not be a glorious day? I will not blether on about myself as the wedding day is about you. If you want a friendly, fun and memorable ceremony, I’m your celebrant. Oh I am Irish, so if that’s a problem then……. I’m not your celebrant.
I also enjoy taking Renewal of Vows and can take Naming Ceremonies or indeed create a personal ceremony for your occasion just give me a call.
